Après avoir opéré dans l’ombre pendant quelques mois, Egregore émerge à nouveau en cette année 2024 avec un EP de la talentueuse Toulousaine Juli.

Explorant un ligne très ténue entre ses influences dub et jungle, et une palette musicale résolument plus industrielle, elle trouve un équilibre parfait dans ses morceaux qui donnent envie de skanker intensément, et gardent toutefois une très forte atmosphère méditative et introspective. Après, notamment, sa contribution à Attraction Corp en 2022 ainsi qu’un EP solo autoproduit l’an passé, nous sommes plus que ravi·es de l'accueillir sur le label.

Et cette fois-ci, ce n’est pas un mais deux remixes qui viennent ajouter un point final à l’EP, avec son partenaire de longue date Shaku ainsi que le bien connu Argo qui s'attèlent à la tâche.

After lurking in the shadows for a few months, Egregore emerges in this new year with a fresh release from local talent Juli.

Treading a very thin line between her dub and jungle influences and a more industrial sound palette, she strikes the perfect balance with tracks that incite heavy skanking yet retain a highly introspective and meditative atmosphere. After contributing to Attraction Corp in 2022 and releasing her first solo EP last year, we’re more than thrilled to welcome her onto the label.

And this time, it’s not one but two remixes wrapping up the release, with both her close partner Shaku and french dubstep mainstay Argo taking on the task.
